Throughout the pandemic, NeighborWorks Montana partners continue to show ingenuity, adaptability, and dedication to serving clients. Partners have embraced online, virtual elements to continue to serve clients safely across the state. NeighborWorks Montana continues to support the virtual service provision, and has facilitated a platform to enable partners to serve clients statewide. The Virtual Statewide Education was a biproduct of both wanting to serve clients in more rural areas and the pandemic.
This quarter, four partners took on the Statewide Homebuyer Education Class: Headwaters (Butte) HRDC 9 (Bozeman), HRDC 4 (Havre), and Salish and Kootenai (Polson). Each partner took the lead on important homebuyer education components (budget and credit, shopping for a home, lending, and home maintenance). The class was attended by 20 participants statewide and hosted an array of presenters from around the state. NeighborWorks Montana was thrilled to help facilitate space for these educators to do what they do best! We are excited to continue this program on a quarterly basis. We are looking forward to the next statewide partner-led course happening in January 2021.
Thank you to our partners who helped make this class such a success!
