We’re thrilled to announce that NWMT’s own Hanna Tester has been appointed to the Housing Counseling Advisory Committee under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)!
HUD recently welcomed seven new members to its Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee, including Hanna. This committee plays a key role in advising HUD on its Housing Counseling Program, focusing on strategies to enhance support for prospective homebuyers, current homeowners, and renters, especially in underserved communities.
The committee comprises professionals from diverse sectors of the housing industry, including mortgage lending, real estate, and housing counseling. Hanna’s appointment is a testament to NWMT’s strong reputation and commitment to quality housing counseling.
“I commend HUD for recognizing NWMT’s integrity and strong reputation in housing counseling,” said Hanna Tester, Homeownership Director, NeighborWorks Montana. “I look forward to contributing in a way that respects the unique aspects of delivering counseling and education in communities like those in Montana.”
We’re proud to see Hanna’s dedication to housing counseling recognized at a national level and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll make in this new role!
