COMMUNITY GIVE BACK RECIPIENT

Thanks to our sponsor, Kinetic Valuation Group, the 2024 Community Give Back funds have been given to the Seeley Lake Community Foundation (SLFC).

The Seeley Lake Community Foundation strengthens Seeley Lake while keeping it special. In this unincorporated rural community, the SLCF functions as a clearinghouse of knowledge on community needs and opportunities, as a hub for charitable giving, and a mechanism for savvy, collaborative solutions to local issues.

Next year, they will celebrate 25 years! Below is a list of their biggest accomplishments:

  • SLCF Community Grants: $364,000 awarded to 41 non-profits for local projects
  • Change Your Pace Challenge: $632,000 raised through our community-wide giving campaign since 2016
  • I Ride Seeley Lake: 2,000 rides and 100,000 miles driven getting community members to medical appointments since 2017
  • Seeley Lake Sunday Market: Weekly summer market offering socializing and rural economic opportunities
  • Glass recycling: 25,000 pounds of glass saved from the landfill and over $13,000 raised for Seeley Lake schools since 2021
