This is a three day class on the following dates:
Attendance at all three classes is required.
The class is especially beneficial to first-time homebuyers with below median incomes, but any potential homebuyer will benefit from the class. Anyone who has not owned a home for three or more years is considered a first-time homebuyer and may be able to purchase a home for monthly payments comparable to what they are paying in rent. Homebuyer education classes are brought to you by the Bitter Root RC&D and funded in part by NeighborWorks® of Montana and the Montana Board of Housing. Completion of this class is required in order to qualify for some of the special homebuyer assistance programs.
You can register for the class by calling the Bitter Root RC&D at 363-1444 ext 5. When you register, you will just need to give your name and phone number to reserve a spot. The class is $20 and if that is a hardship, scholarships are available. Real Estate Agents can get 4 elective continuing education units.
